Engineers Without Borders’ mission is to redefine the purpose and impact of engineering practice as a critical enabler of sustainable development. Their work is impact-led, and guided by evidence with a focus on long-term positive change in the neighbouring regions they support as well as Indigenous Australian communities.

 

As Chief Executive reporting to a progressive and committed Board, you will be strategic and outcomes-driven, agile and adaptable, and able to champion EWB to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will build effective stakeholder engagement at all levels, and provide strong leadership to employees domestic and others engaged abroad. This pivotal role will maximise the value proposition that EWB provides and promote awareness of its vast programs – in support of a world where technology benefits all.

 

To succeed in this pivotal role, you must be an inspiring and effective leader, with superior interpersonal skills and business acumen, who can build trusting relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, supporters and volunteers  – with the insight and resolve to challenge the status quo, drive transformational change and the ability and presence to quickly build a media profile.

 

Demonstrated executive leadership experience in an NGO / For-Purpose environment is a must. You will also need strong fundraising ability as well as financial management experience. You will embody EWB’s  values, robust ethical policies and accreditation, with dedication to people, projects and partnerships.

Join this highly regarded NFP organisation, providing social and recreational options for people living with dementia. Their community-based social programs offer respite, referral, and support for people of any age.

 

Reporting to an enthusiastic and motivating CEO, this newly created role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations offering person-centred services for clients. You’ll provide leadership and direction for the Programs team and volunteers to meet current community standards, and advocate for client needs with service providers and government departments.

​

For this stimulating role you should have a background in community or NFP management and a track record leading teams who understand the principles of best practice. An understanding of the challenges facing the aged care sector and the ability to build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds would be highly regarded.​

Experience or qualifications in dementia would be a plus.
